The Wednesday Tour Challenge

Local Rules

 

  1. The new tall grass is played as a red lateral hazard. (Not a free drop)
  2. The ditch to the right of #1 green is a free drop.
  3. The ditch on hole #9 is a hazard.
  4. Play the Blue tee's. 55 years and older may play the white tee’s. 70 and older play Red tee's.  During a Major event, back up one color tee.
  5. The prize money will be derived from the weeks previous PGA tour finish. Whatever the winner’s purse was, will be set at 70 for the WTC, and then continue on down the winners list of the PGA to correspond to the WTC prize money. Any score below 70 on the WTC will add $150,000.00 to the purse.
  6. An event is official if 9 holes are played by everybody. Then if it is cancelled because of weather, the tournament will be the number of holes played by the last group.
  7. Any rule by the USGA that results in a DQ, will be modified to a maximum of a 2 stroke penalty.
  8. In the event of a tie for first place. The loser’s of the playoff will loose half of the difference between that level of prize money they were on, with the level, 1 shot below what they shot for the round.
  9. The rock on hole # 10 is an immovable obstruction. (Course beautification)
  10. You may remove crabgrass or the like from the green. You may tap down anything.
  11.  Elevated power line rule on hole 13 & 18. Must re-hit. (The guy wires are simply just obstructions)
  12.  The retaining walls on hole 11 & 18 are intregal parts of the golf course. (Thus no relief from obstruction)
  13.  Out of bounds on hole 9 is defined by the inside of the wall. (Thus no relief from obstruction)
  14.  You get relief from the well house on 18 only from swing and stance.
